Growth Pains
A mid sized advertising agency moved to new facilities to accommodate its rapidly growing staff. To promote better productivity their graphic Macs and web PC's had to be networked. The initial cabling was performed by the electrical contractor who also installed the agency's electrical wiring, lights, etc.

After two months of repeated system failures and dropped lines with no satisfaction from the electrical contractor, the agency hired another electrical contractor that touted they also offered high tech cabling services. Many weeks, many dollars, and lots of lost productivity later the network was still hit or miss at best.

Through a referral the advertising agency contacted Pioneers Unlimited, a telecommunications firm, whose primary mission is voice and data cabling. Within minutes problems with the network were identified, within hours hardware was changed, at days end the problems were gone. To date Pioneers Unlimited has returned to further expand the ad agency's data network cabling, introduced them to wireless components, and is currently designing the ad agency's new telephone and voice mail system.
