Case
History #2
Keeping
Connected
A
busy mid-sized law firm understood early on the advantages
of incorporating the internet into their operations. Besides
the day-to-day benefits of e-mail communication there were
major benefits in accessing legal libraries and other research
avenues.Unfortunately
since the day their data network was connected to the internet
they experienced numerous line crashes resulting in losses
in data, time, and money.
Then by
chance one of the law firm's partners saw one of the Pioneers
Unlimited service vans on the highway. He took down the number
and gave us a call later that day.By
weeks end, our technological representatives meet with the
principles of the firm and heard about the problem in detail.
As specialists in structured wiring we quickly recognized
the problem was somewhere in the cabling - not the hardware
nor their service provider.
In eight
business days Pioneers Unlimited solved the problem that they
were suffering though for over five years. With minimal interruption
to their day-to-day operations Pioneers Unlimited re-terminated
and Fluke certified all cables and all data connections were
re-established. Since that period back in March of 2003 the
law firm has had 100 percent network reliability. They also
have experienced increased productivity and corporate growth.
In the spring of 2005 Pioneers Unlimited installed a VoIP
system for the firm utilizing Telerad equipment.
